It's a pretty smooth transition from GB to Logic in terms of interface. When compared with the other Industry Front Runners, considering what you get, it's a steal.
Apple logic studio for free#
GarageBand comes with a new Mac, so you could try that for free first if you like. While no DAW will be perfect, I think Logic is a tremendous value. There are plenty of other DAWs out there for Mac users, just because you have a Mac doesn't mean you have to use Logic. Is it worth it? It depends what you want it for. People don't want to pay for anything these days! Is it really worth the money or should I consider something else? Or do I really have a choice if I’m using a Macbook?Come on? It's actually £150 on the Apple store, which is even more ridiculous a deal considering what it is. This review makes it seem like it’s an okay DAW software but it isn’t perfect and I’m expecting something close to perfect with its price. This post right here says that it’s important to consider the laptop used when choosing the right DAW so I’m really torn between finding a cheaper software or if I should just swipe my card with my eyes closed on the Logic Studio. It’s just that I feel like if my computer’s an Apple then I should get Apple software too.
It’s priced close to £200 and that’s somehow costly considering I just recently purchased my Macbook Pro.
